April 2009 Five technicians head over to Frankfurt Musik Messe on behalf of KV2 Audio.
Due to the success of FTAV's exhibition stand build, supply and fitting service for KV2 Audio at Plasa, Earls Court in September 2008, Jonathan Reece, CEO of KV2 Audio made the decision, rather than using local contractors in Germany to ask FTAV to project manage, supply, transport and erect their trade stand for what is the largest professional sound equipment exhibition in the world.
As a keen supporter and user of the KV2 Audio brand, FTAV are very proud to be working in conjunction with Jonathan and his team.
February 2009 FTAV add another Yamaha LS9 32 Channel Mixer to their hire stock.
The LS9 series consoles follow in the distinguished footsteps of the Yamaha PM1D, PM5D, and M7CL, expanding Yamaha's digital mixing console lineup for live sound and installations. The LS9 series consists of the 32-mic/line input 64-channel LS9-32, and the 16-mic/line input 32 channel LS9-16. While being compact and light enough for one person to move and set up easily, both models include features that have been field-proven in previous Yamaha digital consoles as well as outstanding sonic quality.
Our engineers particularly like this product so we decided to get another one.
December 2008 Winter Wonderland.
Bolton Abbey, in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors, lies in part of the Duke of Devonshire's estate. A very historic and popular ruin it sees many thousands of visitors throughout the year. As the Duke is a very forward thinking, energetic character and family man he made the decision to create, with the help of some stunning lighting effects and audio sound bytes a winter wonderland theme and walk culminating in a trip to Santa's Grotto for some Hot Chocolate or Mulled Wine as part of the Bolton Abbey Christmas Experience.

at Balmoral Castle. Our Technicians engineered the event
using Martin Professional Lighting including Mac 700's,

2006 The British Bridal Exhibition. FTAV were asked to design, build and engineer this major UK event.
The stage and catwalk was designed by our in-house design team
to give this years event a more modern and almost industrial
look.
The event took 2 days to prepare for with a crew of 8 FTAV technicians
in total and began on the afternoon of Sunday 10th of March
in the Harrogate International Center.
This event is tricky as the main catwalk show is only around
45 minutes long and includes an impressive 14 scenes. Each scene
was programmed using an Avolites pro lighting desk and Martin
professional Mac 250 wash, Mac 250 Krypton and Mac 700 Profiles.
Our technicians rehearsed the show over and over in order to
make sure they were on the ball with both audio and lighting
timings.
